Navy Women's Lacrosse to Host Winter Clinics on Dec. 11 and Jan. 22

The Navy women's lacrosse team will be hosting a pair of clinics in the winter of 2011-12. The program will first host the Navy Women's Lacrosse Winter Clinic on Sunday, December 11, 2011 and will also hold the Navy Developmental Players Clinic on January 22, 2012.

The Winter Clinic (Dec. 11) is open for high school players in the classes of 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. The three-hour clinic is $75 and will feature techniques in stickwork, shooting, individual defense, individual offense and goalkeeper instruction. There will also be a conditioning session with a Navy strength coach. The clinic will be held on the grounds of the United States Naval Academy.

The Developmental Players Clinic (Jan. 22) is open to students in the classes of 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and will be held at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium from 10 am to noon. The cost is $60 per participant. Participants will be taught the latest techniques in stickwork, shooting, crease defense, individual offense, individual defense and goalkeeping.

Cindy Timchal, the all-time winningest coach in Division I lacrosse history, is the camp director and she will be joined by Allison Fondale, Kristen Waagbo, Corey Donohoe and the two-time Patriot League Champion Navy women's lacrosse team.
